2014 FSU National Champions T-Shirts, Hats, Are On Sale Now!

Just minutes after the Florida State Seminoles became the 2014 BCS National Champions, championship fan gear went on sale in Tallahassee and online.

One of hot spots for championship T-shirts and hats is the Tallahassee Civic Center, where FSU hosted a game-watching party.

Co-manager of the Florida State University Book Store, Justin Stecz, told Consumer Press earlier today that the FSU Bookstore will have championship merchandise on sale at the Civic Center as soon as the game is over.

“We will have 3 different styles of t-shirts in addition to the official locker room shirts and hats. (We will) be open until the fans have left the building,” said Stecz.

Stecz also said that the FSU Book Store’s website, ShopFSU.com, will have championship gear available right after the game. “This merchandise will include clothing, hats, novelty items, etc. Things that we will carry in the store at some point but will be available for purchase immediately online.” The site is celebrating tonight’s win by offering free shipping from Jan 7 to Jan 15.

On Tuesday morning the FSU Book Store’s main location on N Woodward Ave will open at 8am and have the same T-shirts and hats that are available at the Civic Center tonight. The Seminole Sportshop inside Doak S. Campbell stadium will also have the same merchandise.

Additional 2014 FSU BCS Championship gear will arrive in their stores on Wednesday and Thursday, according to Stecz.

Tallahassee Walmart stores will also have 2014 BCS Championship on sale early Tuesday morning, according to Walmart spokesperson Debbie Serr.

“We work with the local printers and have some of the merchandise sent over via courier when the game ends,” said Serr. “Then the balance will arrive the next day. The stores will also start to receive product early tomorrow morning, while headwear such as hates, etc, will arrive later in the day and into the next day.”

Fanatics.com and FansEdge.com also has FSU 2014 National Champions gear available.

Anne Lacey Whitaker, PR Manager for Fanatics, Inc., told Consumer Press “BCS Championship gear will be available within minutes of the game ending on both Fanatics.com and FansEdge.com. Both e-stores are offering free shipping on orders over $50.”

We also have unconfirmed reports that Academy Sports + Outdoors stores throughout Florida are open after the game and selling FSU National Championship T-shirts and hats. – UPDATE – Amanda G. of the
Academy Sports Administrative Support Team contacted us late this evening to say that Academy Sports will not be selling championship gear immediately following the game, but they will be open at their regular 8AM opening time Tuesday morning.
