2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs: Game 5 Preview/ TV Schedule & Live Streaming

Game 5 of The Stanley Cup Finals is tonight, which means it’s once again do-or-die time for The NY Rangers.

The Kings have a commanding 3-1 lead and are looking to close out the series tonight on their home ice while NY is fighting to keep their playoff hopes alive and see game 6.

NY had seemed destined to win the cup when the playoffs began: they won two game 7’s in the opening rounds and could do no wrong, but its been a different story in this series.

The Kings gave The Rangers a taste of their own medicine, pulling off stunning wins in OT for games 1 & 2  and seemingly crushing NY’s spirit. They completely shut out NY in game 3, putting them on the brink of elimination.

The Rangers though, found some of their old magic and managed to stop L.A. from sweeping them,  winning game 4 and setting up another must-win game tonight.

Game 5 takes place tonight at 8 P.M. (EST) on NBC and through live streaming at NBC Live Extra.
