2014 World Series: TV Schedule/ Live Streaming & Game 4 Preview

The San Francisco Giants find themselves down 2 games to 1 in the World Series after losing game 3 at home last night 3-2.  They are hoping to even things up with a win tonight in game 4.

Coverage begins with the pregame show at 7:30 P.M. (EST), followed by first pitch at 8:07 P.M. (EST) on Fox.

Fox has exclusive rights to the series and will be the only channel airing the games.

Live streaming will also be available for the first time ever through MLB.TV. This service is free for current MLB.TV subscribers, but will require a subscription for everyone else who is eligible.

You can access the live stream through your home computer or when your on the go from almost any device with the MLB.com AT Bat app, which is free to download.

Eligible subscribers can sign up for just $9.99 and will receive the first month of MLB.TV 2015 for free when they do.  This is a nice bonus for fans who’s teams are not competing in the series, as they can stream their home teams games next year.

In order to be eligible you must have a current subscription service with a qualifying Pay TV Partner.  The company’s that are participating are: Time Warner Cable, Verizon Fios, DIRECTV, Optimum, AT&T U-verse TV, COX, BrightHouse Networks, Buckeye, Arvig, WOW!, Suddenlink and Consolidated Communications.

Game 3 saw the Giants offense sputtering against Royals pitcher Jeremy Guthrie, who dominated most of the night.  The Giants tried to mount a comeback, but the Royals bullpen held strong to secure the win.

The Giants now have to play from behind, at home no less, to try and pull out a win tonight and swing the momentum back their way.

Hopefully, starting pitcher Ryan Voglesong will pitch better than his bloated 5.19 ERA indicates and the Giants bats will come to life- otherwise, this series could be over by Sunday.

The Royals will have pitcher Jason Vargas going for them.  Vargas has a 2.38 ERA and pitched superb in the ALCS clincher game with 5+ innings of one-run ball.

It should be another close game, with the Royals taking command of the series with another win.

My prediction: Royals 5- Giants 2.
