The 2015 BET Awards take place tonight (Sunday, June 28) and it will be must-see TV as Janet Jackson will be appearing for the 1st time in years to perform and will also be honored with
The awards are being held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California and will be hosted by “Black-ish” stars Anthony Anderson Tracey Ellis Ross.
This year’s ceremony will feature special awards being given to to Smokey Robinson, (the Lifetime Achievement Award) and Jackson (the Ultimate Icon: Music Dance Visual Award).

Show Time: The show starts at 8 P.M. (EST)/ 5 P.M. (PST) on the BET Channel.
Red Carpet: The BET Awards 2015 Pre-Show: LIVE! RED! READY! will air from 6-8 P.M. (EST)/ 3-5 P.M. (PST), also on BET.
Free Live Streaming: BET will not be streaming the awards, but they will stream backstage coverage through BET Awards live stream, which is available on PC’s, smartphones and tablets.
