2015 Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Recall Due To Metal Fragments

Kraft has issued a recall on over 6.5 million boxes of their original flavor Macaroni & Cheese because the boxes may contain small metal fragments

The boxes in question have “best when used by dates” that range from September 18, 2015 to October 11, 2015 and are marked with a C2 code.

The affected products are:

-7.25 ounce individual box

-7.25 ounce 2-pack

-7.25 ounce 3-pack

-7.25 ounce 4-pack

They were sold in The United States, Puerto Rico and in various countries in the Caribbean and South America.

Kraft  Food Groups Inc. issued a statement saying that the recall is for the above listed products only- no other pasta varieties or shapes were affected.

They are sorry this has happened and are working to make sure it doesn’t happen again, according to the statement.

They ask that anyone who finds metal to return the box to the store for a full refund.

The company also told reporters that so far they have been notified of 8 people finding metal in their Macaroni & Cheese, but no injuries.

Anyone with questions can call Kraft at 1-800-816-9432 between 9 A.M. (EST) and 6 P.M. (EST).
