2015 NBA Finals: Free Live Streaming Overseas For The Military, Travelers & More

Whether your stationed overseas or just visiting you can watch the 2015 NBA Finals, which take place this Thursday, June 4, through free live streaming from USTV Now.

In previous years those overseas had to pay, so this is a welcome change for many Americans who are away from home.

However, USTV warns that the free package will only be available for a limited number of viewers so sign up quick or : ” Upgrade to ensure priority HD access on all supported devices.”

The other packages are $19.99 and $29 and offer more channels.

The service is easy to use and there are no gimmicks or purchases required:  simply go to the USTV Now website and click on the sign up for free button (all you need is a valid email address).

There are 3 packages available, but the free package has 6 channels, including ABC and ESPN which are covering the games.

Select the free package and you can now stream and record the NBA Finals for free on your PC, tablet or smartphone; no credit card needed.

The free package is good for 45 days- once it is over you can only stream through your PC and streaming will be slower (you can upgrade to restore everything).

This year’s finals promise to be an exciting one as the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Golden State Warriors live from Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.

Here is the complete game schedule for this potential 7-game series, including dates and times:

June 4 (Thursday) — Game 1 at Golden State, 8 P.M. EST (ABC)

June 7 (Sunday) — Game 2 at Golden State, 7 P.M. EST (ABC)

June 9 — Game 3 at Cleveland, 8 P.M. EST (ABC)

June 11 — Game 4 at Cleveland, 8 P.M. EST (ABC)

June 14 — Game 5 (if necessary) at Golden State, 7 P.M. EST (ABC)

June 16 — Game 6 (if necessary) at Cleveland, 8 P.m. EST (ABC)

June 19 — Game 7 (if necessary) at Golden State, 8 P.M. EST (ABC)

Series Preview: Western Conference Champion Golden State, led by 2015 league MVP Stephen Curry, has home court advantage and is returning to the playoffs for the first time since 1975.

The Eastern Conference Champion Cleveland Cavaliers are led by 4-time MVP LeBron James; The Cavs have never won a title and last made the playoffs in 2007.

James returned to Cleveland, his home team, to help bring them a title after winning 2 titles with Miami (he and the Heat lost to the Spurs going for he 3-peat in 2014) .

This should be an interesting match-up: while LeBron has been more precise and efficient as ever, he will still have an uphill battle with a young team  that is still learning around him.

Steph Curry, meanwhile,  has been lights out and impossible to guard and GS has a solid defense.

If  Clay Thompson stays consistent for the Warriors Cleveland will not be able to pull off a win, especially with  Kyrie Irving’s(Cavs) bum ankle.

This is Golden States series to lose-Warriors in 6.
