2015 New Year’s Day College Bowl Games: TV Info, Streaming, More

New Year’s day 2015 will be an exciting one for college football fans as there are 5 bowl games taking place throughout the day.

Outback Bowl 12 P.M. (EST) ESPN2 HD: #18 Wisconsin takes on #19 Auburn in Tampa, Florida.

You can catch the game streaming live for free  on your PC using espn.go.com or  Stream2Watch.  You can also watch on the go by downloading the WATCHESPN app through iTunes or the Google Play Store.

These services require you to log in using your existing TV provider in order to get full access for free.

These 2 teams last met in the 2006 Citrus Bowl, with Wisconsin winning 24-10; lifetime they re 1-1-1 against each other.  Both teams are having a rough year thanks to staffing changes, so this game is more for pride than anything else.  Wisconsin wins, 35-14.

Goodyear Cotton Bowl 12:30 P.M. (EST) ESPN HD.  #5 Baylor takes on # 8 Michigan State in Arlington, Texas.

This will be the 1st AP Top 10 Cotton Bowl match-up since 1994 when #4 Notre Dame faced #7 Texas A & M and only the 2nd time these 2 teams have met (the 1st meeting taking place back in September of ’68).

Look for an interesting game, with Michigan winning 28-20.

Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl 1 P.M. (EST) ABC HD.  #25 Minnesotta battles # 16 Missouri in Orlando, Florida.

The Citrus Bowl marks the 1st time since ’62 that Michigan has played in a January 1 bowl game.  Minnesota is 3-4-1 lifetime against Missouri and both team’s coaches are Coach of The Year honorees.

Michigan once again has posted an 8 win season and looks strong; expect them to win 24-17.
