The 2016 American Music Awards (AMA’s) take place this Sunday, November 20, and it promises to be a star-studded event, with celebrities from music, TV, movies and more on hand.
Hosted by super-model Gigi Hadid and Saturday Night Live member Jay Pharoah, the awards will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.
For those who plan to watch, here is everything you need to know, from time and streaming, to a list of nominees:
Time & Channel: The awards will air live on ABC TV at 8 P.M. EST/ 5 P.m. PST.
Free Live Streaming: Free live streaming is available through your PC from abc.go.com and on your tablets and devices via the Watch ABC app for Android of iOS.
Although streaming is free, you will need to sign in using a participating cable provider.
Red Carpet: Red carpet coverage will be available from both E! and the AMA’s official website. Here are the details:
Coca Cola Red Carpet Live will stream starting at 6 P.M. EST/ 3 P.M. PST on the AMA website. Featuring interviews and performances from Spencer Ludwig and Emile Sande, it will be hosted by: Rocsi Diaz, Roshon Fegan, AJ Gibson, Kira Kazantsev, George Kotsiopoulos, Bailee Madison, Jeannie Mai and Laura Maran.
E! Live From the Rec Carpet will air starting at 6 P.M. EST/ 3 P/M/ PST on the E channel, stream on e online and be available on the E! app for Android and iOS.
Performers
Among those scheduled to perform are , Justin Bieber, The Weekend, Fifth Harmony, Lady Gaga, Green Day, Niall Horan, John Legend, Bruno Mars, James Bay, Shawn Mendes, and Twenty One Pilots.
Sting, who is receiving an American Music Award of Merit, will also perform.
