The National Puerto Rican Day Parade is happening this Sunday, June 12, so if you plan to drive to or through NYC you may have a hard time.
The parade is expected to run along 5th Avenue, from 44th-79th streets, from 11 A.M. (EST) until 6 P.M. (EST), which means congestion not only for the parade route, but the surrounding areas.
To help you get around easier and find the best route, here is a complete list of street closures:
• 44th Street between Madison Avenue and 6th Avenue Formation
• 45th Street between Madison Avenue and 6th Avenue Formation
