2016 Veteran’s Day Restaurant Deals & Freebies: Applebee’s, TGIF & More

This Friday, November 11, is Veteran’s Day, and to honor all the men and women who have served out country, many restaurants and bakery chains are offering free or discount meals.

If you want to honor a vet and show your appreciation, here’s when, where, and what is being offered from places like Applebee’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, and more.

Please note, proof of military service may include military ID, a DD 214, a picture of the veteran in uniform or wearing the actual uniform when dining.

Applebee’s
Now through Saturday, veterans and active duty military get a free meal from Applebee’s limited Veteran’s Day menu. Military ID or proof of service is required. In addition, they will also receive a $5 coupon that they can redeem between November 12 and November 27, 2016.

Boston Market
All veterans, service members, and their families get a free brownie or cookie with any purchase. No ID required.

Buffalo Wild Wings Free Wings
On Friday, November 11 ONLY, veterans and active duty military get a free small order of 10-12 traditional or boneless wings and fries. At participating U.S. locations only.

Chili’s Free Meal
On Veteran’s Day, vets and active-duty military receive a free meal from Chili’s Veterans Day menu. Proof of military service is required.

Chipotle
On Veterans Day,  from 3 p.m. to closing, all veterans, military and their spouses can take advantage of a buy 1, get 1 free discount for a small burrito, bowl, or salad. Proof of service is required.

Chuck E. Cheese
On Veteran’s Day, all active and retired military members can get a free, individual 1-topping pizza with offer code 5258.

Denny’s All You Can Eat Pancakes
On Friday, November 11, from 5 a.m. to noon, all active, inactive, and retired military can get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast on  ID required.

Friendly’s Free Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner
On Veteran’s Day Friendly’s is treating veterans and active military to a free dine-in breakfast, lunch or dinner from select menus. Offer valid with a military ID or honorable discharge card.

Hooters Free Meal
On Friday, November 11, all veterans and current servicemen can get a free meal from their select Veterans Day menu. Military ID or proof of service required.

IHOP
On Veteran’s Day, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., all veterans an active military can get free Red, White and Blue pancakes. Select IHOP restaurants will also offer a combo of two eggs, hash browns and choice of two bacon strips or pork sausage links as part of the Red, White & Blue Pancake promotion.

.Krispy Kreme Free Doughnut & Coffee
On Veterans Day, a free doughnut and small coffee will be given to all veterans and active military. No ID required.
Little Caesars Pizza
On Friday, November 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.,  veterans and active military members can receive a free $5 HOT-N-READY® Lunch Combo. Proof of service required.

Olive Garden Free Meal
On Veterans Day, active-duty military and military veterans get a a free entrée from a special menu. The special menu features 6 of Olive Garden’s most popular items and are served with unlimited homemade soup or famous house salad and warm, garlic breadsticks.

Outback Steakhouse Free Bloomin’ Onion® and a beverage
All active, retired military and veterans get a free Bloomin’ Onion® and a beverage on Veterans Day. Must have valid identification. There is also a military discount of 15% off the total check for military members and their families.

Red Lobster
All veterans, active duty military and reservists get a free appetizer or dessert from their select Veterans Day menu.Valid military ID required.

Ruby Tuesday
On Veteran’s Day, active duty, and reservists can get a free appetizer(up to $10 in value). Proof of service required/

Starbucks
On Veteran’s Day, active duty service members, reservists, veterans and military spouses can get a free Tall Brewed Coffee. In addition, now through November 11, for every Veterans Day Starbucks Card or eGift purchased, Starbucks will contribute $5 to help support programs assisting service members, military spouses and veterans.

TGI Fridays Free Lunch
On Friday, November 11th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time, anyone with a valid military ID can get a free lunch item (up to $12).

White Castle
Military veterans and active duty military can get a free breakfast combo or castle combo meal #1-6 on Veteran’s Day. Proof of service is required.
