Nestle Purina is voluntarily recalling select lots of Beneful and Pro Plan wet food for dogs after test results showed the foods may not contain the recommended levels of vitamins and minerals.
Select flavors of Beneful Prepared Meals, Beneful Chopped Blends, and Pro Plan Savory Meals 10oz. tubs with a best by date between June 2017 and August 2017 are included in this recall.

No illnesses or deaths have been confirmed in association with these recalls. Purina released this recall to alert dog owners of possible malnutrition in their dogs if these products solely make up the dog’s diet.
Purina recommends pet owners to discontinue feeding the recalled products to their dogs and to call the company at 800-877-7919 for a refund.
