The specs look high end, but it’s priced like a budget smartphone.
We’re talking here about the Neo N003, an Android based smartphone with a 5-inch HD display at a resolution of 1,920 x 1080.
The smartphone is to feature a 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6589 processor, a 13 MP back camera, 1 GB of RAM and 3,000 mAh battery.
The price?
According to a report from GizChina, just 899 yuan. That’s about $145 in US dollars.
The Neo N003 hasn’t been released yet in China, but there seems to be quite a bit of excitement about it online. No telling when we might actually see it in the US, or how much the price might be bumped up.
GizChina says there will also be a premium version of the phone for about $100 more.
Nice, off contract, prices, if they hold up when the phone gets to the US.
