Aaron Lewis has had a lot of success with over 13 million albums sold with the band he is the frontman of, Staind. After all this work and after achieving rock star status it seems that Aaron has had enough and he is now going back to what he actually likes: country music.
Lewis just launched a single , a country music debut with the name “Country Boy”. On this track you can hear genre music legends like George Jones, Chris Young and Charlie Daniels.
The Staind frontman declared that he has always loved country music and his roots lie there. “Country Boy” stands out as having highly personal lyrics. Now we will have to wait and see if this is the beginning of a country music career. Fans will also be happy to hear that the country project is enjoying the help of James Stroud, a very well known producer and a lifetime friend of Lewis.
The new single, “Country Boy” is already available on iTunes and an EP called “Town Line” will be available in February.
