This week, cable television network ABC Family announced its highly-anticipated 2014 summer schedule.
While the lineup includes returning fan favorites Pretty Little Liars and Switched at Birth, it will also feature three new original series, including the drama Chasing Life and the comedies Young & Hungry and Mystery Girls.
Chasing Life is the new hour long series that follows April (Italia Ricci), a young, aspiring journalist struggling to balance her burgeoning career and family-life after learning she has cancer.
Chasing Life will premiere Tuesday, June 10th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
Young & Hungry is the new series executive produced by Ashley Tisdale (High School Musical).
The half-hour comedy follows Josh (Jonathan Sadowski), a young tech entrepreneur and Gabi (Emily Osment), his aspiring personal chef.
Young & Hungry premieres Wednesday, June 25th at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.
Mystery Girls is the all new half-hour comedy series starring Beverly Hills, 90210 alum Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth.
The show follows Charlie (Garth) and Holly (Spelling), two former crime TV stars who are reunited years later after a real crime occurs.
Mystery Girls premieres Wednesday, June 25th at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT.
ABC Family favorites Pretty Little Liars, Switched at Birth and The Fosters will also return in June with all new episodes.
Back and ready for its fifth season, Pretty Little Liars is scheduled to begin airing new episodes Tuesday, June 10th at 8:00 ET/PT.
Season three of Switched at Birth will debut Monday, June 16th at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT, followed by the return of the critically-acclaimed series The Fosters at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
