A&E’s ‘Bates Motel’ Gets A Live After Show For Season 2! [Video]

Bates Motel: After Hours will provide fans with an exclusive look behind the scenes, as well as appearances and interviews with the show’s stars and producers.

Following in the footsteps of several popular television shows, including AMC’s The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad, the A&E Network has green lit a new live after hours special for its drama series Bates Motel.

And, just like Talking Dead and Talking Bad, the show Bates Motel: After Hours will provide fans with an exclusive look behind the scenes, as well as appearances and interviews with the show’s stars and producers.

In preparation for the show’s second season, A&E has also set up an interactive Bates Motel website.

There, fans can “check in” to the infamous motel and interactively explore rooms, unlocking additional show footage and teasers.

Bates Motel is A&E’s drama-thriller series that tells the story of a modern-day teenage Norman Bates before his so-called ‘Psycho’ days.

The plot follows Norman and his mother, Norma, as they move to a quiet new town and begin renovating their newly purchased property, an old house and a nearby motel.

After only a few days, however, the two quickly realize that the town is not as quiet and innocent as it seems.

Freddie Highmore and Vera Farmiga star as Norman and Norma, respectively.

The first season of Bates Motel was highly successful, making it A&E’s most-watched original drama series among viewers ages 18-54.

The second season will feature guest appearances by Michael Vartan, Kathleen Robertson, Paloma Kwiatkowski, Rebecca Creskoff, Kenny Johnson, Michael Eklund and Michael O’Neill.

Bates Motel: After Hours will air live Monday, March 3 at 11:00 PM ET/PT, while the season premiere of Bates Motel will air at 9PM ET/PT.
