MasterCard has joined forced with Amazon to bring shoppers a new feature for Amazon.com – Friends & Family Gifting.
“Friends & Family Gifting on Amazon makes gift-giving fun and easy,” said Andy Rosenbaum, Sr. Manager of Wish List and Gifting for Amazon. “You will never forget a birthday and will have great gift ideas ready for this holiday season and special occasions year-round.”
Friends & Family Gifting allows shoppers to keep track of special occasions easily, receive shopping reminders, and manage gift ideas for everyone on their list.
Shoppers can compile their gift ideas in one convenient place with Friends & Family Gifting. The new Gift Lists feature allows shoppers to create and share gift ideas by email or through social media outlets such as Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest.
With Friends & Family Gifting, shoppers can keep track of the important and special occasions that are coming up next. Shoppers can opt-in to receive email reminders before birthdays of a friend or family member that link directly to that friend or family member’s Wish List.
This feature takes the guess-work out of choosing a gift, and the friend or family member will get a gift that they will be sure to enjoy.
Another perk of the Friends & Family Gifting feature is focused on kids. With this feature it is easier to find great gifts for kids because Friends & Family Gifting provides recommendations for children’s gifts by age and interest.
