Amazon is running a special on their Kindle Fire HD 8.9 Wi-Fi and 4G tablets.
According to Amazon, shoppers can save $30 when buying the Kindle Fire HD 8.9, and $50 when buying the Kindle Fire HD 8.9″ 4G LTE, by using the promo code FIRELOVE at checkout.
The promotional code is prominently displayed with the offer on their home page.
This drops the price of the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 16GB Wi-Fi version from $299 to $269. The 32GB version will drop from $369 to $339.
The price of the Kindle Fire HD 8.9″ 4G LTE drops from $499 to $449. The 32GB version from $599 to $549.
Amazon is limiting the deal to one per customer, according to the small print on their site.
The promo code does not apply to Kindles sold through other retailers.
The deal is good through February 8th, 2013.
