Amazon Instant Video For iOS Now Has HD Streaming On Phones

iOS users who have an Amazon Prime membership  got some great news today: they can now watch and stream  Amazon Instant videos in HD on their phones thanks to an update to the iOS  app.

This means any iOS user with enough data in their package can now watch movies, Tv shows and more anywhere they are using their mobile device; they can also use AirPlay to fling what their watching from their phone to Apple TV.

In a statement from Amazon the company announced  today that : ” With the new iOS app, Prime members can instantly watch tens of thousands of great titles available at no additional cost to their membership over a cellular network and in HD…  the new Amazon Instant Video app for iOS now includes the ability to stream titles in HD picture quality, including on Apple TV by flinging via AirPlay.

Consumers can go to the iOS app store for the updated version, which also has new setting to allow users to customize their data usage and download quality.
