Amazon is pushing a unique way to encourage consumers to use their Price Check app this Saturday.
On Saturday, December 10, shoppers who purchase a product on Amazon after scanning the item in a store will receive a 5% discount, up to $5 each, on up to three products.
There is some fine print. Shoppers will need to be using the latest version of Price 
Check from Amazon. Geo location will need to be enabled. And the product will need to be in one of the eligible Amazon categories, which include electronics, toys, music, sporting goods and DVDs.
The Price Check app from Amazon is offered to consumers for free. Both iPhone and Android versions are available. Amazon has set up a page with information about the deal and providing links to the app at www.amazon.com/instoredeals.
