Amazon.com is appealing to the gaming enthusiast with a new deal that combines the purchase of a qualifying HDTV and a free Playstation 3 and a 3D Deluxe Starter Kit.
Gamers who opt to buy a Playstation 3 separately will pay around $299 for the 160 GB system being offered as a part of the deal. The 3D Deluxe Starter Kit for the Playstation 3 is an additional cost of $273.99 through Amazon.
Shoppers can instead purchase a qualifying Sony NX810 LED 3D HDTV and receive both the 160 GB Playstation 3 and the 3D Deluxe Starter Kit for free. One qualifying TV is the Sony Bravia KDL46NX810 46 Inch 1080p 240 Hz 3D ready LED HDTV. According to Amazon, the cost of the TV is lower than the manufacturer’s recommendation and therefore can only be shown once it is added to a cart.
Amazon shoppers need only place the qualifying HDTV, Playstation 3 and 3D Deluxe Starter Kit into their cart. They will not be charged for the free items when they checkout. These items also qualify for free standard shipping, making the savings even higher.
The deal is being offered through February 5, but supplies of the qualifying items are not guaranteed to last until then.
