American Horror Story: Asylum, the second season of the supernatural thriller from FX Networks, will be available streaming on Netflix on December 7th.
Whereas the first season’s story took place in 2011, the second season of American Horror Story takes place in Briarcliff Mental Institution, an insane asylum, in 1964.
American Horror Story: Asylum was nominated for seventeen Primetime Emmy Awards and won two.
On December 12th Netflix will release the second season of Lilyhammer on their streaming service.
Lilyhammer is from NRK1, a Norwegian broadcaster. It tells the story of a New York gangster starting his like over again in Lillehammer, Norway.
On December 9th Netflix will launch their Home for the Holidays with Netflix selections. This year’s selections are: Love Actually (2003), National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989), The Polar Express (2004) and White Christmas (1954).
Other new and upcoming movies and shows of note hitting Netflix this month include: Touch: Season 2 (available as of yesterday), Shake It Up!: Season 3 (12/10), Family Guy: Season 11 (12/17), Drinking Buddies (12/22), and The Iron Lady (12/30).
