It’s another night of eliminations on Fox’s Season 12 of American Idol — or is it?
Well, before getting to results, former Idol contestants took to the stage.
Tonight Season 10 finalist Stefano Langone, performed “Yes To Love” off his album set to release this summer.
The second guest appearance was from former Season 9 American Idol winner Lee DeWyze. He performed “Silver Lining,” the first single off his new album also set to release this summer.
Now let’s get to results!
Host Ryan Seacrest puts the contestants into two groups- the top two and the bottom two. Angie Miller and Kree Harrison are placed on one side of the stage, while Candice Glover and Amber Holcomb are placed on another side of the stage.
He then announces that Candice and Amber are in the bottom two tonight, while Kree and Angie are safe.
Ryan then announces that the person leaving tonight is… NO ONE!
Everyone is safe tonight! There is no elimination this week. He explains that since the American Idol judges did not use their save this season, there is already an extra week in the schedule.
Thus, it has been decided to give the Top 4 contestants a free pass to compete during the extra week, before the finale. The votes for last night will be added to next week’s votes and then only one of the ladies will be headed home!
