We recently heard rumors of a Radio Shack offer for shoppers looking to buy an HTC One.
The rumor said those who buy an HTC One from RadioShack for a price of $199.99, and sign a two-year contract with Sprint, would also receive a $50 Google Play Store credit as a bonus.
Today the rumor was confirmed – but with a slight change.
Customers can get the smartphone for $199.99 along with the $50 Play Store credit, but they are free to sign a contract with either Sprint or AT&T.
The offer is good until July 1, according to Radio Shack.
Shoppers can order the HTC One with a Sprint contract directly from RadioShack online.
Those who want to get the phone with an AT&T contract will have to visit a brick & mortar store, at least for now.
The HTC One listed at RadioShack.com is the 32 GB version, which is being sold by many carriers across U.S.
With the AT&T contract, shoppers have a choice between the 32 GB or 64 GB version.
Unlocked 32 GB and 64 GB models of the HTC One are currently available at HTC’s online store.
