Apollo 17 launched December 17, 1972, and was the last manned mission to the moon. In December 1974, two American astronauts were sent on a top secret mission to the moon funded by the US Department of Defense.
According to the description for “Apollo 18,” this is movie is actual footage captured on their mission. While NASA denies its authenticity, others claim that it is the real reason we have never gone back to the moon.
