Apple Relaunching iPad 4, New 4GB iPhone 5c

Apple has announced today that it will be re-launching its iPad 4, originally marketed as the New iPad, to replace the iPad 2 as its lowest tier tablet. The iPad 4 will now be marketed as “iPad with Retina Display”.

The 16 GB WiFi-only iPad 4 will be sold at $399, while the model that adds cellular access will retail for $529 in the U.S.

Customers who want or need more than 16 GB of storage space will need to purchase the iPad Air, which is available in 16, 32, 64 and 128 GB sizes.

Both will be made available in black and white colors.

The computer giant has also announce a new lower end iPhone 5c to join the rest of it’s colored phones in select markets.

The new model will come in an 8GB storage size while retaining all the same features and color options of its larger capacity brethren which come in 16GB and 32 GB sizes.

The phone will only be made available in the UK, France, Germany, Australia and China.
