ASUS has recently introduced two brand new ultra-slim UX21 and UX31 Zenbook laptops.
The notebooks are promoted as being super-quick and light. They measure 0.1 to 0.7 of an inch thick from front to back. The X21 weighs in at 2.4 pounds, and the UX31 weighs in a bit more at 2.9 pounds. Both ultrabooks will feature one USB 2.0 port, one USB 3.0 port, microHDMI and miniVGA slots. The UX31 will also feature an SD card reader. Each device also comes with the option of Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processors, 4GB of RAM, and Bang and Olufsen speakers.
The UX21 features a 1366×768 pixel resolution, while the UX31 features 1600×900 pixels, and 5-7 hours of battery life.
The Zenbook UX21 and the UX31 measure 11.6 and 13.3 inches, and contain 128GB and 256GB respectively. The Zenbook UX21 is priced at $999 and the UX31 at $1099.
Both Zenbook devices will be available for sale in the United States starting October 12. The notebooks are expected to be sold at retailers such as Best Buy, Amazon, and Target.
