AT&T U-verse subscribers are receiving a full slate of extra movies and channels through the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
AT&T is providing their U-verse U450 package of movie and TV channels free to all of their subscribers during what they call a “free preview weekend.”
The free preview weekend runs from November 28 through December 1.
The U450 package includes extra HD channels, HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Starz, TMC, and Encore.
It also includes U-verse Games and the U-verse Screen Pack.
Some of the movies available on-demand through HBO this weekend include The Dark Knight Rises, Cloud Atlas, Mike Tyson, The Hobbit, Loonie Tunes, and War of the Worlds. Episodes of various HBO series, documentaries, sports, specials, and late night programming is also available for free..
Included through Showtime On Demand is Jarhead, Twilight: Dawn Part 1, Blitz, Deadfall, and D3 The Mighty Ducks, along with a number of Showtime Sports and SHO After Hours.
The U-verse Screen Pack includes 89 movies in all during the free U450 preview weekend. They include Blame It On Rio, FX2, Get Shorty, Payor, Hollowman, Poltergeist III, Platoon, Stripes, and many more.
U450 is the top tier package of channels available from U-verse. There are a few U450 channels that appear to not be included in the preview weekend, most notably some ESPN channels.
