Backstreet Boys To Tour With Avril Lavigne | Dates | Locations

North America can expect a another big bang from the Backstreet Boys this year.

The “boys” made a huge announcement on ‘Good Morning America’ this morning.

On March 14th 2014, they announced they will be having another North American tour, and this time they will be teaming up with Avril Lavigne!

The ‘In a World Like This’ tour will kick off in Canada on the 3rd of May.

On May 22nd they will be in Seattle. This will be their first US stop.

With the success of their 2013 tour, this extension into the 2014 comes as no great surprise. Their last tour was one of their biggest in the last decade .

Tickets for the tour will be available for sale on March 21st.

Adding Avril Lavigne as a special guest for the concert is a coup indeed. She is set to join the group as the opening act for the 2 month tour.

The tour consists of 23 concerts in total, scheduled in different venues across America.

In a press release, Brian Littrell could not stop praising Avril. “We really wanted to put together a great show and do our best to give everyone their money’s worth. Avril is an unbelievably talented artist who’s a perfect fit to make these shows extra special for our fans.”

In May, the Backstreet Boys will visit: WaMu Theater, Seattle, WA (May 22), Sleep Train Amphitheatre, Sacramento, CA (May 24), Shoreline Amphitheater, Mountain View, CA (May 25), Viejas Arena, San Diego, CA (May 28), The Forum, LA, CA (May 29), and Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, NV (May 30, 31).

During the first part of June, they will be at: Isleta Amphitheater, Albuquerque, NM (June 2), American Bank Center Arena, Corpus Christi, TX (June 4),  Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Houston, TX (June 5), Chesapeake Energy Arena, Oklahoma City, OK (June 6), Starlight Theatre, Kansas City, MO (June 7),  CenturyLink Center Omaha, Omaha, NE (June 9), and the Xcel Energy Center, St. Paul, MN (June 10).

Mid and late June the band will be at:  FirstMerit Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island, Chicago, IL (June 11), Klipsch Music Center, Indianapolis, IN (June 13), First Niagara Pavilion, Pittsburgh, PA (June 14), Riverbend Music Center, Cincinnati, OH (June 15), DTE Energy Music Theatre, Detroit, MI (June 17, Darien Lake Performing Arts Center, Darien Lake, NY (June 18), Xfinity Center, Boston, MA (June 20), Susquehanna Bank Center, Philadelphia, PA (June 21), and Nikon at Jones Beach Theater, Wantagh, NY (June 22).
