After plenty of leaks and speculation, Rocksteady Studios has officially revealed Batman Arkham: Knight for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in 2014.
Many clues suggested that a new entry to the popular Batman game series was in development, but today’s presentation is the very first time that most news outlets are able to report it. Game Informer broke the story first, but now there’s even a developer website to support the Batman Arkham: Knight too.
As far as specific details on what players can expect, it’s been said that the infamous Batmobile will be used as a core mechanic throughout the game.
To accommodate the shift, a new larger and wider Gotham City map will make its debut appearance.
As is the case with any Batman game, the enemies you fight in Knight are important too. The plot takes the caped crusader through the depths of darkness to fight against classic villains like Scarecrow, Penguin, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, and more.
Speaking of which, a Harley Quinn DLC bonus with 4 Challenge Maps is already revealed for those that preorder the game from various retailers.
Rocksteady has also said that this will be the last title they develop in the Arkham series. Check out the reveal trailer here!
