BestBuy.com Offering Free Shipping Through Dec 27

As of yesterday, BestBuy.com is offering free standard shipping on all products purchased through its website. No minimum purchase is required.

“This holiday, we are offering free shipping on everything sold on BestBuy.com …everything,” said Barry Judge, Best Buy executive vice president and chief marketing officer. He went on to say “Consumers are looking for value, service and savings this year, and our goal is to provide them with convenient, creative and less costly ways to make the holiday shopping experience more enjoyable… free shipping will apply to the over 400,000 items sold at BestBuy.com – with no exceptions.”

The special with free shipping will continue for 8 weeks, starting November 1 and going through December 27. In the announcement from Best Buy they also stated that they are offering free same-day store pickup; a system that allows for friends and family to pick up items from the store; and free shipping to stores for local pickup.

Best Buy also announced their return/exchange policy for the holiday season. Any gift purchased from Best Buy can be returned or exchanged from Nov. 13, 2011 through Jan. 24, 2012. They added that the deadline for online orders with free shipping to arrive by Christmas is 11 AM, December 20. The deadline on orders it which free in-store pickup is available is 3 PM, local store time, on December 24.
