Better Call Saul To Defy Time, May Bring Back Dead Characters!

The Breaking Bad spin-off, Better Call Saul, about Walter White’s crooked lawyer/confidant Saul Goodman (played by Bob Odenkirk), is no longer a mere prequel.

During an interview with the New York Daily News, executive producer Peter Gould explained that the show will span decades with some events coinciding with those that took place during Breaking Bad.

“One of the great things about having a time line which is flexible is that perhaps some of it takes place before Breaking Bad, during Breaking Bad, and after Breaking Bad. That gives us the ability to bring back characters that were killed on Breaking Bad,” said Gould.

This gives fans renewed hope that we’ll be able to watch Bryan Cranston return to revive his role of Walter White — the always lovable meth cooking ex-high school teacher.

Regardless of how many Breaking Bad characters come back from the dead, Gould insists that “We want to make a show that stands on its own.”

While the premiere of Better Call Saul has been pushed back to 2015, the good news is that it’s already been picked up for a second season!

Are you beyond excited? Who do you hope to see return from Breaking Bad?
