A number of retailers have gone live with their online Black Friday sales today.
Amazon has actually been offering deals all week. Their online Black Friday store is rotating through limited time deals.
Luckily, shoppers don’t have to wait and watch all day long for their favorite deal. Amazon offers a preview of over 600 deals that are upcoming, along with that time they will be on sale. If you want to torture yourself, a list of missed deals is available too.
Some items of note that are available in Amazon’s Black Friday at publication time include 250GB Xbox 360 Holiday Value Bundle for $189, a Black TwinStar AstroMark 80mm 16-40x Power Portable Refractor Telescope for $87.99, and Call of Duty: Ghosts for $39.99.
Amazon also has a special section for their Black Friday toy sale.
Walmart’s online Black Friday sale includes specific sections for electronics, toys and video games, home and appliances, apparel, music/tv/books and tools/sports. Highlighted in the sale is a Samsung 32″ Class LED 720p 60Hz HDTV, (3.7″ ultra-slim) for $227, a 5th gen Apple iPod Touch with bonus accessory kit starting at $279, a 16 GB Apple iPad 2 16GB WiFi & Bonus Accessory Kit starting at $349, a Wii U Holiday Bundle from $324, and a 50″ Sceptre 50″ HDTV for $399, and a 7″ tablet from RCA for $59.
Walmart’s appears to be very popular this morning, as many of the pages are timing out with an error message saying “You’ve selected a very popular item. We’re working on getting you to the page you requested.
Thanks for your patience.”
Target has really decked their site out with a modern, attractive, look. Big change from two years ago, when they couldn’t keep their site up even during normal traffic times. Featured in their online Black Friday sale are Beats headphones starting at $115, a Nikon L320 digital camera for $99, and Dyson vacuums for 25% off. They have a 16 GB iPad 2 on sale for $399 that comes with a $100 Target gift card, and a Samsung 32″ HDTV on sale for $227.
BestBuy is having a 3-day online Black Friday sale with the iPad 2 on sale for $299. They also feature a big 65″ Samsung HDTV on sale for $999, and a 55″ LG HDTV for $499. Other items of note are an Asus 11.6″ Touch-Screen Laptop with 4GB Memory and 320GB Hard Drive for $249, and the 7th gen 16 GB Apple iPod nano (the latest model) for $99.99. They also have a Canon PowerShot A2500 16.0-Megapixel digital Camera with a free memory card and case on sale for $79.99. They also have a 16 GB USB 2.0 flash drive from Toshiba available for $5.99.
