AMC has released the first teaser for the Breaking Bad spin-off, ‘Better Call Saul’ and teaser is the perfect word to describe the 10 second trailer that didn’t even give a definite air date.
The teaser aired during last night’s Breaking Bad marathon and shows Saul (Bob Odenkirk) telling a lawyer joke to an unknown man in what appears to be a restaurant.
While it’s not much, it does appear Saul is younger, but just as slick as ever based on how he delivers that joke.
The one thing we did learn is that the show will premiere in February of 2015- previously rumors were it would premiere in early 2015, so this is slightly more information than before.
‘Better Call Saul’ is a prequel to the events of ‘Breaking Bad’ and until now there has been scarce information about it except for a mysterious billboard that appeared in July.
That billboard appeared in Albuquerque, advertising the services of “James M. McGill”, which fans know is Goodman’s real name and a number to call.
People who called could hear a recorded message announcing they had reached the offices of James M. McGill.
AMC is having ‘Breaking Bad’ marathons every Sunday from now until October 5, so fans can relive their favorite moments until the prequel airs.
