Need For Speed

Need for Speed opens in theaters March 14.

Ready, set, start your engines!

DreamWorks Studios has released three new clips for Need for Speed, the action packed racing thriller starring Aaron Paul.

In the film, Paul plays Tobey Marshall, a mechanic and street racer who is sent to prison after being framed.

Once out of prison, Marshall participates in a race across the country in order to even the score against the man that framed him.

The three newly released clips provide viewers with a quick glimpse of the upcoming film’s action scenes, including one fast-paced clip in which Paul performs a calculated maneuver around a city bus.

Need for Speed co-stars Scott Mescudi, Dominic Cooper, Michael Keaton, Dakota Johnson and Imogen Poots.

The film is based on the highly successful Need for Speed video game franchise created by Electronic Arts.

Fans awaiting the film’s release are curious to see if the movie will be as entertaining as its games.

Many also hope that the film is good enough to compare to the Fast and the Furious, another top Hollywood street-racing franchise.

Need for Speed is scheduled to open in theaters March 14, 2014.
