Butterball Turkey Hotline Open For Thanksgiving

Butterball Turkey Talk-Line, set up to help holiday chefs with their dire turkey related questions, will be open and running on Thanksgiving Day.

The tollfree hotline is available in November and December from 8 am to 8 pm Central Time including the day most people are stressing over their turkey preparation.

The line is expected to take over 100,000 calls from frantic cooks between Wednesday and Thursday.

The Butterball Turkey Talk-Line was created in 1981. In the first year six home economists answered over 11,000 calls. The questions the line receives range from simple questions like how to baste a turkey to the more complex such as what to do if the turkey is on fire.

Anyone with a turkey related question is urged to contact the Butterball Turkey Talk-Line by phone at 1-800-BUTTERBALL or by email at talkline@butterball.com
