Another Tuesday means another DVD/Blu-ray release day.
The most notable movie release today is Cabin in the Woods which is produced and co-written by Avenger’s head master, Joss Whedon, with Cloverfield writer Drew Goddard.
It stars Chris Helmsworth (Thor, Snow White and the Huntsman), Kristen Connolly, Amy Acker (Dollhouse), Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy), Bradley Whitford (The West Wing) and a number of other familiar faces.
The movie is about a group of friends that spend a weekend at a remote Cabin in the Woods. To say much more than that gives too much away.

Another wave of TV shows are hitting DVD today as well in anticipation of the fall TV season. One such show hitting shelves today is Supernatural season 7. The Winchester boys have their hands full dealing with Sam’s deteriorating mental state, as well as cleaning up the mess that their angel friend Castiel created.
