Good news for Call of Duty fans.
The latest instalment in the series, Call of Duty: Ghosts, will release on next-gen consoles as well as current-gen.
The title will depend on current technology and weapons along with a ‘major plot event’.
From the details so far, the single player mode will include environments that allow for more destructions compared to previous versions of the game, while the multiplayer mode will include traps and areas that are interactive.
No characters have been revealed so far, but rumors say the title will be powered by the new gaming engine.
The last tile in the series, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, made revenue of over $500m, and became one of the biggest launch entertainment titles to date.
Call of Duty: Ghosts will release on 5th November.
The system list for the game includes PS4, PS3, PC, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox 720.
More details of the game are going to be revealed at Microsoft’s launch event on 21st May.
