Galaxy Note 2 owners in Canada will be excited to know that Samsung is pushing out the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update on February 6th.
This was announced on the official Facebook page of Samsung Mobile Canada.
The announcement was labeled as a ‘Game Special’ announcement, informing that Galaxy Note II owners in Canada using national carriers will begin receiving the Multi Window feature and firmware update on Wednesday, February 6, 2013.
Apart from the Multi Window feature, the update will also bring Chinese language support for the handset.
The update will roll out on Galaxy Note 2 WIND, Telus, Bell and Roger variants.
Previously, Samsung announced on the same Facebook page that the update was set for deployment in early February, but no exact date was mentioned.
Looks like Samsung has decided to give it a push quite early in the month. Many expected mid February.
