Today Humble Bundle released two new game offers: the Humble Weekly Sale, offering a number of THQ games for Steam; and the Humble Mobile Bundle offering several Android mobile games.
Shoppers can purchase these game bundles for an amount of their choosing, with the donation being split between the Humble Bundle website, game developers and a number of charities including the American Red Cross, Child’s Play, and the Electric Frontier Foundation.
Bundle #1: The Humble Weekly Sale
The Humble Weekly Sale includes these titles for as little as $1:
- Red Faction: Armageddon
Shoppers who pay more than the average donation amount will also receive:
- Darksiders II
- Red Faction: Guerrilla
All of these games are offered as Steam downloads. For those who want the complete bundle, the current average donation is less than $7.
Bundle #2: Humble Mobile Bundle
The Humble Mobile Bundle is offering a number of games available for download on supported Android devices.
The following games are all available for a donation of any amount:
- Contre Jour
- Anomaly Korea (including soundtrack)
- Plants vs. Zombies (including soundtrack)
- Bladeslinger (including soundtrack)
Any shoppers whose donation exceeds the average will also receive:
- The Room (including soundtrack)
- Metal Slug 3 (including soundtrack)
The average donation is under $6 at publication time, and the sound tracks are available in FLAC and MP3 formats.
If you are unfamiliar with Humble Bundle, it is a bit of a different experience. Shoppers not only choose how much they will pay in total for the games, they also decide how much of that total goes to the tame’s developers charity, and Humble Bundle.
It looks to be popular too. So far, these two offers have raked in more than $450,000, according to the site’s stats.
We’d love to hear your thoughts!
