Cheese Recalled For E.coli

The FDA announced on Friday that Sally Jackson cheeses are being recalled due to potential E.coli contamination.

All of the cheeses are made with raw milk and packaged in leaves and twine. They are distributed nationwide to stores, restaurants and distributors.

All of the cheeses made with cow and sheep milk come wrapped in chesnut leaves while the goat cheese is  in grape leaves. Some of the cheeses may have a wax paper coating.

Washington state officials discovered Sally Jackson cheese products as a potential source of an outbreak of E.coli that was being investigated.

It is advised to return the cheese to the store where it was purchased.
