Cyber Monday is finally here.
We’re watching Twitter, shopping forums, online stores and sites. Here are some of the Cyber Monday deals and sales people are talking about:
• Amazon.com has dropped the price of the Amazon Echo from $179 to $149. Echo is Amazon’s version of an in-home Siri. You can ask for news, weather, music, or other information and media, from across the room and the Echo provides it.
Amazon is also offering $30 off select Kindle and Kindle for Kids Bundle, $20 off Kindle Paperwhite, and 80% off over 800 Kindle books.
They have an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone on sale for $399, and many other deals.
Amazon has also published a general use promo code for 30% off on jewelry, clothing, watches and more. The promo code is ‘cybermon’ and the list of items it applies to is here.
• T-Mobile is offering free memory upgrades with the purchase of a new Apple iPhone online. According to T-Mobile, shoppers can buy a 16GB iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus and have it upgraded to a 64GB version for free, or buy a 64GB version and have it upgraded to the 128GB version, for free.
• Target.com is offering 15% off “virtually everything” with the promo code cyber15.
They also have 75 e-doorbuster posted on their site. According to Target, more than half of them will be half off or more.
Some of the deals they are pushing include the 500G Xbox One B with Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Bundle for $299.99, half off licensed kids’ cameras including Frozen and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Cra-Z-Art Ultimate 4 in 1 Easel for $45, and a Swagway x1 Hands-Free Smart Hoverboard for $399.
• Best Buy is offering a number of deals including $150 off select Macbooks and $100 off the Microsoft Surface 3, and $500 off a 55-inch LG 4K Ultra HD Smart TV. More of their deals are listed here on CP.
• Walmart.com has $200 off the Microsoft Surface 3. They also have an LG 65-inch 4K Ultra HDTV for $799, normally $1,299. Call Of Duty, Black Ops 3 is on sale for $39.88, and a 1TB Xbox One bundle with Gears of War, Rare Replay and Ori & the Blind Forest is on sale for $349. More Walmart deals can be found on CP here.
• At the Google Store, Google has their Nexus 9 tablet on sale at $200 off (starting at $199). Unlocked Nexus 5X smartphones are on sale with $80 off (starting at $299) and can be financed through Project Fi (with purchase of Fi service) with no interest. More on that here.
Google is also offering up to 80% off select books, and three months of Google Play music for $1 ($9.99/month after first three months).
• Toys R Us has their Tonka 12-volt Dump Truck ride-on for $200. It’s normally $350. They also have the Nabi 2 Tablet on sale for $80, 40% off Sharper Image RC Boxing Robots, and 25% off all Schwinn bikes.
