It seems that the opening of the Diablo 3 beta to the public is just around the corner with the kick off of the Diablo 3 Friends and Family beta!
Earlier today, Blizzard kicked off the Diablo 3 F&F beta, which means that the closed public beta could be available any time now!
According to a forum post, Blizzard has told the public the following information:
“FYI, we’re getting very close to starting the closed public beta test for Diablo III. You might start seeing some new reports about the beta client as we’ve begun limited external testing with employees and their families, and there is no non-disclosure agreement (NDA) for that. We look forward to sharing more info about the beta test in the near future. Stay tuned.
If you have a beta license, you are free to show, share, or talk about any portion of the beta content to which you have access, as this beta test is not confidential.”
A video that showcases some of the footage from the private Diablo 3 beta has surfaced, and gives fans and gamers a look at what Diablo 3 is going to be like. The launcher and login are showed, a glimpse of the character creation screen, as well as random screenshots of the from the beta itself. The footage can be seen in the video player below.
