Dirk Nowitzki Out With Knee Injury – Mavericks Still Win

It seems that the Mavericks are on a roll right now. Nothing stops them. Not even the fact that they lost Dirk Nowitzki.

The star of the team was taken out of the game during the second quarter because of a knee injury. According to Jason Kidd this did not have any impact on the team and we did see that on the field.

The Mavericks continued to play great basketball and they won the match against Oklahoma City Thunder by 103 to 93. The victory was highly impressive because Nowitzki did not play for 3 quarters. The problem was a foul by Serge Ibaka. After that incident he left and had to deal with a sore knee that stopped him from playing for the rest of the game.

In the past we saw the team having problems but it was not the case now. The Mavericks continued to play perfectly and won the game.

This game marked a fifth consecutive win for the Mavericks and the 17th in the last 18 matches. They also have a highly impressive 11 to 1 record away from home.

Dirk Nowitzki does not seem to be injured badly but an MRI will reveal more. Officials hope that there is nothing serious and that the star player will return as soon as possible.
