DNC 2016: Live TV Coverage, Schedule, Speakers & Live Stream

The 2016 Democratic National Convention (DNC) start tomorrow (Monday, July 25), and is expected to be a much more subdued and politically correct event than the circus that was the RNC.

With no major protests or disruptions expected, ala Ted Cruz, the focus will be on the speakers and the issues, giving the people a chance to see what Clinton is all about.

The event will take place in Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Center and runs from Monday, July 25-Thursday, July 28

For those who want to watch, here is a rundown of the convention schedule, TV coverage, live streaming options and scheduled speakers.

Schedule/Speakers: Here is the schedule of sepakers for the event, courtesy of the DNC Committee:

Monday:
First Lady Michelle Obama, Senator Bernie Sanders and DREAMer Astrid Silva will speal; proceedings start at 3:00 PM. EST

Tuesday:
President Bill Clinton
Start time is at 4:00 P.M. EST, with President Bill Clinton to speak first.

Also scheduled to speak Tuesday are: Mothers of the Movement members Gwen Carr (mother of Eric Garner), Sybrina Fulton (mother of Trayvon Martin), Maria Hamilton (Mother of Dontré Hamilton),  Lucia McBath (mother of Jordan Davis), Lezley McSpadden (mother of Michael Brown), Cleopatra Pendleton-Cowley (Mother of Hadiya Pendleton) and Geneva Reed-Veal, Mother of Sandra Bland.

Wednesday:
President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are scheduled to speak; start time is at 4:30 p.m.

Thursday:
Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton will speak; start time is at 4:30 p.m.

TV Coverage: TV coverage of the events is as follows:

CNN: They will have 24-hour coverage.

Fox News Channel: Live coverage is expected to be folded into the FNC primetime schedule.

MSNBC: They will offer coverage and highlights; no specific times were announced.

C-SPAN: They will have live coverage from noon-9 P.M. EST.

PBS/10: They’ll have live coverage from 5-8 P.M. EST each day of the convention.

ABC/2: “Your Voice, Your Vote: The 2016 Democratic Convention” will air from 7-8 P.m. EST.

CBS/6: “Campaign 2016: Democratic Convention” will air each night from 7-8 P.M. EST.

NBC/8: “NBC News: 2016 Democratic Convention” will air from 7-8 P.m. EST each night.
