Dolce & Gabbana Launches Newest Fragrance – Dolce

Dolce & Gabbana have just launched there newest fragrance, Dolce for women.

It is described as a contemporary, feminine and fresh scent.

According to Stefano Gabbana, Dolce is “a translation into fragrance of a young new love that will, by virtue of it’s innocence, retain its youthful vitality.”

The fragrance opens with top notes of sweet smelling Neroli, middle note of Papaya flower, and Base notes of a floral bouquet, said the company in a press release.

The rich notes of the White Amaryllis were created using “Headspace Technology,” they went on to explain, which captures the exact scent of the flower in full bloom without having to cut it and grind the petals to extract the essential oil.

The elegant bottle has thick, clear glass with curved lines, giving it a vintage yet contemporary design. It also has a flower stopper with a black grosgrain ribbon.

The most personal touch is Dolce signed in black script, which is a replica of Domenico Dolce’s father’s own signature.

Dolce is available at Saks Fifth Avenue. It comes in Eau de Parfum in two sizes.  1.6oz for $90, and 2.5oz for $112.

It is also available in shower gel and body lotion.
