For Whovians excited to see what the new Doctor might look like when he appears in August, BBC One has given us another teaser trailer.
The teaser, which you can check out below, does not show much more than the one they released a few weeks ago. It does however give us the Doctor talking, as well as the release date that we were finally looking for.
The new Doctor will land on August 23, 2014.
Show runner Stephen Moffet has already stated that this will be a darker season, as this Doctor, who was given a whole new set of regenerations at the end of the Christmas Special in December, tries to navigate through everything.
It’s also the first time the reboot of the series has decided to go for a more mature Doctor, which has led some to think that the subject matter of the episode may be more dark than they had been through previous seasons.
One thing is for sure, I can not wait to see what Moffet has up his sleeve for Doctor number 12 (I know, I know the number is still debatable). I also know that I am very much a fan of Peter Capaldi already, which leaves me highly anticipating the new series.
