After the disaster with SimCity, EA is offering SimCity players a list of free games as an apology for the game’s issues.
Ever since the initial launch of the game, players have been having problems connecting to the game’s server.
EA states that everyone who registered the game before March 25th will be able to choose one of the eligible titles to download for free on Origin.
The eligible titles are:
- Battlefield 3 (Standard Edition)
- Bejeweled 3
- Dead Space 3 (Standard Edition)
- Mass Effect 3 (Standard Edition)
- Medal of Honor Warfighter (Standard Edition)
- Need for Speed Most Wanted (Standard Edition)
- Plants VS. Zombies
- SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition
Players will have until March 30th to claim the free game.
Players under the age of 18 will automatically receive a copy of SimCity 4 or Bejeweled 3 instead.
Most of the game’s issue is resolved by now, according to EA. The company has no plans to have the game available in offline mode, which many users have asked for.
