After an altercation forced managers of the City Grill, in Buffalo, New York, to close early, a man opened fire on patrons that were leaving the restaurant.  Four people were killed.

It was early Saturday morning, about 2:30 am, when the restaurant’s management made the decision to close down. Guests were on their way out. Eight people who were leaving were shot by the gunman. Four of them died from their wounds.  One of the deceased was a man from Texas, who was there with his wife, celebrating their first wedding anniversary.

Police have charged Keith Johnson, 25, of Buffalo, with four counts of second-degree murder. He could potentially be facing more charges.

Law enforcement is asking for witnesses to come forward and identify whether or not Johnson was involved in the altercation inside the restaurant, which led to the early closing.

Authorities have not released any of the victim’s names at this time.  Of the four wounded, one remains in critical condition at a Buffalo hospital.
