Eva Longoria has filed divorce papers in Los Angeles Wednesday amid rumors that husband Tony Parker was cheating on her with a teammate’s wife.
The filing came just one day after reps for both parties vehemently denied allegations that Parker had filed for divorce in Texas. Rumors have circulated that Parker was cheating with an unnamed teammates wife which led to the divorce. This is speculated to be the second time Longoria has discovered cheating but neither party has confirmed that rumor to be true.
The divorce petition filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split but did not list a separation date for the couple. In the petition, Longoria requested her name be changed back to Eva Jacqueline Longoria. The Desperate Housewives star also asked the court to require each party to pay their own attorney fees and for no spousal support to be issued.
The couple was married in Paris in 2007. Longoria was previously married from 2002-2004 to General Hospital star Tyler Christopher. This was a first marriage for Parker.
Parker signed a new multi-year extension with the San Antonio Spurs two weeks ago insisting that the couple wanted to remain in Texas.
