Fans began lining up Wednesday night for the midnight release of the Nike Air Jordan Retro 11 shoes affectionately dubbed ‘cool greys’.
The shoes, a must have for Air Jordan shoes collectors, are a remake of the last Air Jordan shoes that Michael Jordan wore during his final game for the NBA. This alone made them a fan favorite.
The cool greys were set to be released beginning at midnight on December 23 in limited quantities. This fact combined with the fact that they were already desired shoes left collectors and fans lined up early for their shot at acquiring a pair.
The shoes were set to be available in infant, children, big kids and mens sizes. Many of those shopping were picking up a pair at $175 for a special Christmas gift for the Air Jordan fan in their life.
Foot Locker stores and their website were set to carry the shoes as long as supplies last.
